As this week ends National Women’s Small Business Month, we’re reflecting on one of our clients, Free Mama Movement, founded by Joquetta Wright. Focused on women’s empowerment, Free Mama Movement is the embodiment of this month’s theme. We also have a family connection as the mother of Trifecta’s co-founder sisters, Bridgette Sloan, has been a featured designer in their fashion shows, based in Charleston, South Carolina and Ariane, our Director of PR, has also walked in the fashion show as a model.

When we were brought on board for PR for the 2026 spring fashion show, themed From Lemons to Luxe, we were thrilled to get to work bringing news of this incredible movement to the community. Free Mama Movement’s mission is rooted in women’s empowerment - its mission is to “inspire mothers to embrace their dreams while navigating the beautiful chaos of motherhood…through creative experiences, community events, and personal development opportunities.”

Our Results
Pitching the spring Free Mama Movement fashion show to local media was a success! We were able to feature Joquetta as the thought leader behind the mission, alongside models and designers, including our mom. The uplifting work of Free Mama Movement was perfectly timed for Mother’s Day and brought a positive story to the community as the fashion shows continue seasonally, giving Charleston-area moms and designers opportunities to showcase themselves and celebrate each other.
